Did you know that a herd of rented goats can eat noxious weeds, create fire barriers, clear unwanted foliage and naturally fertilize the land? Don't use mechanical equipment, weed killers, chemicals or days of manual labor to do the job when you can have a herd of goats do it as nature intended
We'd like to emphasis that a fire barrier around your home or business is of the utmost importance as wildfires, natural or human error, are more prevalent than ever!
When you choose Leshay Goat Rentals we set up an appointment to assess areas the goats will clear with the client and come up with a comprehensive plan to remove desired brush, ladder fuel or create defensible spaces around perimeters of pertinent areas . We then set up portable fencing which is an electric netting powered by solar. In this process we may need to use manual tools to clear a path for the fencing. Next is providing water, shelter and minerals. Once everything is set up we bring in our hungry herd and our livestock Great Pyrenees Guardian dogs, Kota and Sadie, who will stay with the goats as predator protection for the duration.
When your project is complete we load up the goats and remove all fencing.
BONUS: NATURAL FERTILIZER AND AERATION
Leshay Goat rentals goal is to help the environment with natural land management. Our goats not only reduce ladder fuel, which is underbrush that intensifies fires, they can create a natural defensible space around your home or business. In addition they eat Noxious weeds and the best part is when they eat the seeds the acids in their stomachs sterilize the seed so once returned to earth from the goat they cannot replant.
We are typically out with the goats so please leave a message, text or email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
